Spider-Man No Way Home Mid-Credits Scene Explained

By Christy Mathew

The Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) keeps delivering, and the third Peter Parker picture; ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home,’ a collaboration between Marvel Studios and Sony; does justice by serving up a hilarious but important mid-credits scene that will make ‘Venom’ fans happy.

Eddie Brock (Tom Hardy) and his ferocious symbiote make a brief cameo in the film’s mid-credit; which is a continuation of what was seen in ‘Venom: Let There Be Carnage’ earlier this year.

Eddie is seen sitting in a pub, trying to figure out how he got moved from his reality to the one; where Peter Parker (Tom Holland) lives in order to learn more about what happened in the universe.

In the crossover bonus scene, Venom and the journalist enter the Marvel Cinematic Universe and learn about the Avengers; including Thanos, from a bartender (Cristo Fernández). Eddie resolves to follow out Peter in New York; while Venom advises the trunk pair to go skinny-dipping.

Even though it is still a fragment, the symbiote has its own mind. Does this imply that it will simply use the bartender as a host and search New York for Peter? We watched the alien offer, Eddie, a look at the hive mind’s immense knowledge and somehow meet and recognise Spider-Man in the ‘Venom’ sequel, despite the fact that they’re from separate universes.
