From incredible NFTs to major donations in the holiday spirit, Shaq ensures he gives back to his community.
On his podcast with GaryVee, he revealed a bizarre story about his wholesome giveaways this Christmas.
Initially, Shaquille was talking about the values that he imbibed from his parents. Subsequently, he revealed that one of the most important things his parents taught him was the value of giving back to society.
Especially to those in need. So he revealed that in the spirit of holidays, he made a phone call that changed a thousand kids’ Christmas.
Shaquille O’Neal has always been a compassionate person. Especially around the holiday season of Christmas. While in conversation with GaryVee on their podcast, O’Neal revealed he bought 1000 PS5s and Nintendo Switches for kids.
He said, “My father was a drill sergeant, my mother just was a hard-working woman. They had little, but they taught me the value of giving back. They taught me the value of helping those in need.”
This revealed why he is so compassionate and philanthropic in his ways. He revealed what he did for some kids in an elementary school around this Christmas.
He said, “I called you know, my friend from Nintendo Switch. Ordered about 1000 Switches and 1000 PS5s. I went to Walmart and got bikes. So you know yesterday, at this little elementary school in McDonough Georgia, kids were crying, kids were happy. And that’s what it’s all about.”
Shaquille O’Neal has always been a simple man who has never boasted of his wealth arrogantly. He only showed his arrogance and dominance on the court and not outside of it.
