NBA legends Shaquille O’Neal and the late Kobe Bryant are known to be very generous men. The Big Diesel is especially known for his acts of kindness after his retirement.

He recently built a Comebaq court in his hometown of Newark, New Jersey. This is another contribution of Big Shaq to the community.

He has also followed in the footsteps of his ex-teammate Kobe Bryant’s family, who also did something similar recently.

O’Neal posted some pictures of kids playing ball with him. The court has been shaded with the colors red and blue on each side.

Shaq’s court will be pivotal for the kids in that area to play basketball in the future. Because the availability of safe and good playing surfaces is always needed.

O’Neal isn’t the only one who has built a court recently. A court was built in the honor of Kobe Bryant in Anaheim, California.

Kobe’s wife, Vanessa Bryant, inaugurated the court. And it will be used by underprivileged kids to play basketball.

The court is shaded with Lakers’ famous purple and gold colors. Also, there is a butterfly sculpture of Kobe and Gigi sitting courtside at a game. And the half-court logo also consists of their names.

Another court also opened in Philadelphia’s Tustin Recreation Center. It is significant because Philly was Kobe’s hometown.

Shaq and Kobe’s contributions to the community will not be forgotten and they will always be remembered for their feats on and off the court.
