Ryan Garcia Refuses Mike Tyson’s ‘Dynamite’ Proposal

Less than a week ago, Devin Haney became the undisputed lightweight world champion. He defeated George Kambosos Jr. inside the Marvel Stadium, Melbourne.

While Devin Haney comes off fresh from his victory against ‘Ferocious,’ Ryan Garcia prepares himself for his upcoming bout with Javier Fortuna on July 16.

In a recent episode of HotBoxin’ with Mike Tyson, former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson talked about Haney’s performance against Kambosos Jr. on June 5. In addition, with Haney on top and Ryan Garcia still undefeated, he spoke about what would make a “dynamite” fight.

“The ball’s in his [Devin Haney’s] hands. He’s number one now. He’s the number one man. I think him [Devin Haney] and Ryan Garcia will be a dynamite fight. Not only dynamite but, a big money fight.”

“Ryan Garcia is a big star. I don’t think he knows it, but he’s a big star. He’s so flamboyant,” he added. Interesting, but is anyone of Haney and Garcia willing to be in this fight? Well, here is what Ryan Garcia replied on Instagram.

In a very recent episode of ‘HotBoxin’ with Mike Tyson,‘ host Tyson offered his views about undisputed champion Devin Haney. Given his statement, Tyson seemed well-impressed by Haney’s way of fighting, especially how ‘Dream’ handled ‘Ferocious’ in their last bout.

Gervonta Davis currently ranks 3rd under ESPN’s lightweight divisional ranking. In addition, he comes fresh from a victory over Rolando Romero and flexes multiple lightweight titles. Undoubtedly, given his resume and accolades, Davis is now an enormous star.

He wrote, “This clown uses other fighters to sell his fight… then fights no one! Read between the lines.”

Maybe it is a move by Garcia to gain an audience for his upcoming event featuring Fortuna. However, the very manner in which Garcia has been chanting Davis’ name makes him look too eager. Many believe he couldn’t attain the glory of his own accord.
