Paddington 3 Announced Its Title, Onboard New Director Dougal Wilson

“I’ll never be like other people, but that’s alright because I’m a bear. A bear called Paddington.” Remember this famous line from  Paddington, the movie which received love not just from children but also from adults.

Guess what? It’s back with a third movie which is going to release soon. Paddington movie had 2 sequels one was released in the year 2014 and its second sequel was released in the year 2017.

Now the makers are planning to make a third part of the film. But this time the film won’t be directed by Paul King who made the previous two films, as he has already stepped down.

Paul King shared a few words about passing on the threequel directorial to Dougal Wilson he said, ” After ten years of working on Paddington movies, I feel absurdly protective of the little bear and I’m delighted that Dougal will be there to hold his paw as he embarks on his third big-screen adventure. Dougal’s work is never less than astounding: funny, beautiful, heartfelt, imaginative, and totally original. Aunt Lucy once asked us to ‘Please Look After This Near.’ I know Dougal will do so admirably.”

The franchise has a new director on board who will make a feature debut through this film. Dougal Wilson will be directing the threequel.

Let’s have a look at what the new director has to say about the Paddington movie, Wilson says,” As a huge fan of the first two films, I am very excited (if not a little intimidated) to be continuing the story of Paddington. It’s a massive responsibility, but all my efforts will be focused on making a third film that honors the love so many people have for this very special bear.”

Along with Dougal Wilson being revealed as the director of the third installment, we also got to know about the new title of the film. The new film’s title is “Paddington in Peru.”

Now audience might be wondering why such a name. As the origin of Paddington is from Peru and he use to live there with his Aunt Lucy. So this film will be exploring Paddington going back to Peru where he was brought up. The Paddington film is expected to release in 2024.
