Nine Years Since JIMIN Was Officially Introduced As A BTS Member
Park Ji-min (Korean: born October 13, 1995) is a South Korean singer and dancer who goes by the mononym Jimin.
He debuted as a member of the South Korean boy band BTS in 2013, under the label Big Hit Entertainment.
With the release of the single “No More Dream” on June 13, 2013, Jimin made his debut as a member of BTS.
Both “Serendipity” and “Lie” reached fifty million Spotify streams in 2018, followed by the full-length version of the former from BTS’ Love Yourself: Answer (2018) compilation album, which reached the milestone in early 2019.
Jimin’s first solo single outside of BTS releases, “Promise,” was published for free on BTS’ SoundCloud page on December 30, 2018.
Jimin recently uploaded a goofy photo of himself doing a headstand to Weverse, flipping it before publishing.
While the idea of turning it was adorable and hilarious, it didn’t stop fans from praising his incredible core strength. This is expected given Jimin’s proclivity for stunts in their already impressive choreographies.
Jimin of BTS is without a doubt one of the top K-pop dancers of all time! On January 1, Jimin set a new record on the KDOL app by taking first place in the daily ranking poll, as well as the weekly and monthly rankings.
For those who are unfamiliar, KDOL is an app that allows fans to support and cheer for their favorite K-pop singer (idol) by collecting ‘hearts’ daily through various activities and challenges, and then voting for their favourites each day with the ‘hearts.’
