Nike Air Force 1 High Celebrates the 50th Anniversary of Hip-Hop

Nike has released a special edition of their classic Air Force 1 High to commemorate the 50th anniversary of hip-hop culture.

The "Classic" shoe is a one-of-a-kind design that pays homage to the graffiti art and street style that evolved during the early days of hip-hop.

The shoe has a black leather top with spray-painted white and cement grey pieces, producing a speckled texture that gives the design a rough look.

The white Swoosh contrasts with the black upper, and the particular branding on the tongue tag emphasizes the significance of the 50th anniversary.

Nike completed the design with a coconut milk midsole and a black rubber outsole, which provide a comfortable fit and a good grip for regular usage.

The sneaker will be available for $135 USD at select shops and on Nike's website.

The Nike Air Force 1 High "Classics" not only delivers a new twist on a classic shoe, but it also pays homage to hip-cultural hop's significance.
