Nate Diaz Fires Back at Mike Tyson Over Praise for Conor McGregor

Nate Diaz was surprised by Mike Tyson's praise of Conor McGregor's performance against Floyd Mayweather in 2017.

McGregor's boxing debut against Mayweather was the second highest-selling combat sports pay-per-view of all time.

Mayweather won the fight in the tenth round after putting on a dominant performance.

Despite this, Tyson was impressed with McGregor's performance in the ring against one of the greatest boxers of all time.

Tyson highlighted that McGregor was able to score punches against Mayweather, something that many people overlook.

Diaz pointed out the difference in the nature of his win against McGregor compared to Mayweather's win against McGregor.

He tweeted while tagging the heavyweight legend: “I took him all the way out in about eight minutes right before that. What does that tell you? Finished, dead.”

Diaz defeated McGregor in their first meeting by submission before losing to him in their rematch.

Diaz and McGregor have been linked to a trilogy bout ever since their epic rivalry in the UFC.
