Major Shiba Inu Developer Teases Shibarium Release

Shibarium is coming soon, says lead developer

According to one of the project's primary developers, Shytoshi Kusama, Shibarium, the long-awaited Layer 2 solution in the Shiba Inu ecosystem, may be available shortly.

The Shiba Inu community is looking forward to the introduction of Shibarium because of the numerous benefits it may offer, particularly the chance for investors to make big profits.

The information came from a post by Shytoshi on the Welly's Discord server.

There, the developer confirmed that the Layer 2 solution will be available soon and also clarified that discussions about moving into a more active pre-release phase have already begun.

Despite the mystery behind Shibarium and the developers' silence, this revelation should please Shiba Inu fans—or the Shib army, as they call themselves.

The project's exact details are unknown at this time, but based on previous news, we can conclude that Shibarium will have scalability, i.e., the ability to handle large volumes of transaction data in a short period of time, provide a low-cost solution for a wide range of projects with faster transactions, low gas fees, and include a burning mechanism.

It should also be noted that Kusama announced the Shibarium Hackathon in May on his Medium blog, which will coincide with the project's debut.

The hackathon's primary goal will be to educate the community on all of Shibarium's capabilities, but particularly attentive participants will be rewarded for making a significant contribution to the project's development.
