Lil Nas X Teases That He’ll Be Playing Miles Morales, In Spider-Man: No Way Home

After uploading a photo of himself with Tom Holland and Andrew Garfield, Lil Nas X teased that he will be playing Miles Morales in the upcoming Spider-Man: No Way Home.

After rising to stardom in 2018 with the smash-hit track “Old Town Road,” the 22-year-old rapper, also known as Montero Lamar Hill, released his debut album, Montero, earlier this year.

Lil Nas X has repeatedly expressed his love for the Marvel Cinematic Universe, even recreating the Marvel movie start in the trailer for his most recent album.

With the film’s premiere just weeks away and long-running rumors that both Garfield and Tobey Maguire may be returning to reprise their iconic roles still circulating, anticipation for Spider-Man: No Way Home is at an all-time high.

Fans have been screaming for a live-action Miles Morales to join the MCU, either alongside Peter Parker or in his own film.

Following the success of 2018’s animated film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, which went on to win Best Animated Feature at the 2019 Academy Awards, this desire grew even stronger.

After running into both Holland and Garfield at the GQ Man of the Year awards recently, Lil Nas X teased that he will be taking on the mantle of Morales in the next Spider-Man threequel.
