Leslie Grace Shares A Heartfelt Message For Batgirl Fans After $90M Film Gets Shelved

Indeed, it was a sad day yesterday for the Batgirl fans as they won’t be getting to see their beloved character onscreen because of the decision taken by Warner Bros.

Leslie Grace who was supposed to debut as Batgirl in the film, also broke the silence on the decision by Warner Bros.

She expressed how proud she was of this role and shared some images as well on her Instagram handle.

The first image was her in the Batgirl Suit posing for the camera. She  also shared behind-the-scenes shots from the sets of Batgirl. Also,  there were pictures of her in Batgirl Suit behind the scenes, also  trying to get fit in the costume.

Her caption of the post reads, that she addressed people as “Querida  familia” which means beloved family. Leslie wrote about how proud and  blessed she is, for being a part of the film and having such great cast  members with whom she made great bonds in the process.

She says, ” On the heels of the recent news about our movie “Batgirl”, I  am proud of the love, hard work, and intention all of our incredible  cast and tireless crew put into this film over 7 months in Scotland. I  feel blessed to have worked among absolute greats and forged  relationships for a lifetime in the process!”

She also has a message for all the fans out there, she says “To every  Batgirl Fan – THANK YOU for the love and belief, allowing me to take on  the cape and become, as Babs said best, “my own damn hero”. #Batgirl for  life!📷”

The directors too were “saddened” and “shocked” by hearing this news about  Batgirl being shelved. They expressed their gratefulness for being a  part of the film.
