Korean Bakery Taegeukdang Joins adidas to Rework the Superstar

adidas (XETRA:ADS.DE +1.15 percent) has continued to expand its international presence through specialised divisions and global collaborations.

The Three Stripes' latest campaign now connects with 11 iconic restaurants around the world, allowing customers to share their thoughts on classic adidas silhouettes.

The 'adilicious' programme includes collaborations with Bloody Angle from Japan and Ravi Restaurant from the UAE.

This time, adidas took inspiration from Taegeukdang, Seoul's oldest bakery.

Taegeukdang keeps it simple with a classic white, off-white, and black colour palette on the beloved adidas Superstar.

However, there are numerous references to the bakery throughout the novel.

The artwork of the storefront spans the pair, beginning with the translucent outsole.

A removable layer with a white pull-tab covers the shoe's black stripes on the lateral side.
