Knives Out 2 New Title Announced, Daniel Craig Returns

After the first successful sequel of Knives Out, starring Chris Evans, Ana De Armas, Daniel Craig, Jamie Lee Curtis, Christopher Plummer, Riki Lindhome, and Don Johnson.

The film is back with another sequel and yet another new cast. It will be directed by Rian Johnson who on June 14th announced the new title of Knives out 2.

The new cast includes Kathryn Hahn, Kate Hudson, Ethan Hawke, Janelle Monáe, Dave Bautista. Samara Weaving, Leslie Odom Jr, Edward Norton, Madelyn Cline & Jessica Henwick.

The new title is named Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery. Let’s have a look at what the director Rian Johnson has to say about the film he wrote,” When I made Knives Out, that’s what excited me about the prospect of making more mysteries with Daniel as Benoit Blanc- to emulate Christie and have every film be like a whole new book, with its own tone, ambition, the reason for being …and (ta dah) title.”

The director also talked about getting inspired by Agatha Christie and praised her for how she expand the mystery and thriller genre in her amazing books, he tweeted ” Something I love about Agatha Christie is how she never tread water creatively. I think there’s a misperception that her books use the same formula over and over, but fans know the opposite is true.”

It’s also confirmed that Benoit Blanc’s (Daniel Craig ) the private investigator will be back in the new Knives Out film. The whole plot is not yet revealed but it will be around Blanc taking a new murder case in hand. It would interesting to see how this time the mystery unfolds.

He further added in his other tweet,” It wasn’t just settings or murder methods, she was constantly stretching the genre conceptually. Under the umbrella of whodunnit, she wrote spy thrillers, proto-slasher horrors, serial killer hunts, gothic romances, psychological character studies, glam travelogues.”

Knives out 2 will be released soon, the date is not yet revealed and the trailer is also yet to be out.
