Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige's Stands With Batman Directors Amid Cancellation

Warner Bros has already confirmed its decision of shelving the Batgirl movie and fans are still furious and saddened about it.

The directors of the film Billal Fallah and Adil El Arbi have also shared messages saying that they are “shocked” and “saddened” by the news, they further added “we wish that fans all over the world would have had the opportunity to see an embrace the final films themselves. Maybe one day they will Insha/Allah."

Leslie Grace who was supposed to debut as Batgirl in the film, also broke the silence on the decision by Warner Bros. She expressed how proud she was of this role and shared some images as well on her Instagram handle.

Now the President of Marvel Studios Kevin Feige himself shared a heartwarming message to the directors after the cancellation of Batgirl.

In the letter, Kevin wrote, "My friends, I had to reach out and let you know we are all thinking about you both."

He further wished them congratulations on the wedding news but also expressed his disappointment towards scrapping Batgirl

He concludes the message by saying, “Very proud of you guys for all the amazing work you do and particularly Ms. Marvel of course! Can't wait to see what is next for you. Hope to see you soon."
