Jonathan Groff’s Character In Resurrections Is Confirmed By Matrix 4 Images

Jonathan Groff’s role in The Matrix Resurrections has been confirmed by new photographs published for the film.

It’s been more than 20 years since The Matrix first broadcast, forever altering the science-fiction genre.

The Wachowskis’ first film, written and directed by them, introduced the world to Neo, “the One” destined to liberate humanity from the machines, and Agent Smith, a sentient software tasked with stopping him.

The Matrix’s enormous success inspired two sequels, Reloaded and Revolutions, as well as a comic book and video game spinoffs.

The Matrix Resurrections, the fourth installment in the legendary sci-fi franchise, will be released this month.

Lana Wachowski co-wrote and directed Resurrections, and several cast members from the previous films, including Keanu Reeves as Neo and Carrie-Anne Moss as Trinity, will reprise their roles.

New characters, such as the one played by Jessica Henwick, will be introduced in Resurrections. Some cast members, such as Groff, were confirmed for the film without revealing their roles.
