Jake Paul Finally Gets What He Wants From Conor McGregor: "We're Pushing for September"

In an interview prior to his fight with Tommy Fury, Jake Paul asked Conor McGregor to sponsor Katie Taylor's Irish debut against Amanda Serrano.

While Katie Taylor fantasised of competing in the Croke Park arena, the main event organisers were hesitant to cover the anticipated costs.

Conor McGregor, a former UFC champion, then formally announced that he will sponsor the event and foot the expense for additional security.

In a recent interview with Ariel Helwani, McGregor reiterated what he had previously said and discussed his role in the forthcoming Katie Taylor vs. Amanda Serrano fight in Ireland.

Conor McGregor claims that Croke Park is the ultimate location for martial artists and fans of combat sports.

McGregor said, I'm going to sponsor and support the event. I wanted to get it in Croke Park, but it will now be at the O2.

''We continue to work for Croke Park. And September is our goal," McGregor remarked.

The extra security cost for Katie Taylor's fight at Croke Park is $500k, according to "The Notorious," who posted the following on Twitter.
