Instagram Working On Feature To See NFTs in AR

Instagram is reportedly working on the ability to see NFTs in AR wihtin in the app.

At the beginning of this test, Instagram will support collectibles minted on #Ethereum and #Polygon blockchains,

with support for Flow and Solana coming later.

Instagram will support MetaMast, Rainbow, and Trust Wallet initially,

and later add support for Coinbase, Dapper and Phantom.

You don’t have to pay any fees to share an NFT.

At the beginning of the year, Twitter introduced non-fungible tokens (NFTs), as hexagon-shaped profile pics to its premium users, on its platform. Reddit followed suit and revealed that they too were looking at NFT avatars on their platform. Then, in February, OnlyFans announced that they planned to allow content creators to use NFT profile pics that were minted on Ethereum.
