So far, this has mostly been shown through returning villains like Alfred Molina’s Doc Ock and Jamie Foxx’s Electro, but fans are looking forward to a showdown between the three movie Spideys in a clash with a dark group of bad guys.

While putting the three on-screen Spider-Men together would be a major milestone, prior multiverse occurrences involving the character have never shied away from the strange.

The final two episodes of the ’90s animated series included a dimension-breaking Spidey crossover, which inspired Spider-Man comic writer Dan Slott to rework the concept into a filled event in 2014’s “Spider-Verse” storyline.

This was, of course, loosely turned into the Academy Award-winning animated film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, in which Miles Morales teamed up with a diverse collection of Spider-people, including a Japanese-American schoolgirl and a talking pig.

While no other Spider-people have been confirmed to feature in No Way Home, it appears that the film will at least pay tribute to one Spider-Man in particular.
