Floyd Mayweather Trolled After Revealing Plans For NBA Team, Netizens Say Pay Logan Paul His $14M First

Floyd Mayweather, the unbeaten boxer, stated his ambition to purchase an NBA team during a recent press conference in Las Vegas and has already begun working on it.

The American boxer made his remarks after announcing that he would meet MMA fighter Mikuru Asakura in an exhibition match in Japan.

Mayweather is currently based in Las Vegas, and many feel that having an NBA team in Sin City is on his mind.

While the final destination is unknown, the former national champion’s plan to own a professional basketball team has been in the works for some time.

“I’ve been talking to certain individuals for the last six months,” Mayweather said regarding the idea of buying an NBA team. “That’s something I’ve been working on behind the scenes, but I’ve never come out and publicly talked about that with the media.”

“Me and my team have been working behind the scenes with the NBA. I can’t say exactly where, but I’m working on getting a team.”

Mayweather’s remarks came only a week after LeBron James talked about owning a franchise once he retires, with Vegas being his main target.

“He is broke can’t even pay Logan Paul no ways he pulls that off”, a fan  wrote.

“Gotta pay back Logan first”, said another.
