Fans Slam Shark Tank Season 14 Premiere; Call It A ‘Train Wreck’

ABC’s Shark Tank Season 14 premiered recently with an unexpected offer on Friday. But this new experiment was not well-received by fans of the show.

Kevin O’Leary, Daymond John, Robert Herjavec, Lori Greiner, Barbara Corcoran, and Mark Cuban, were joined by a live studio audience for the very first time.

The audience joined the Sharks for an uncensored, unfiltered version of the pitches by various entrepreneurs.

This experiment also involved the audience in the decision-making process with the Sharks, as they had to vote whether the Sharks should invest in a venture or not.

The voting system was only for one night as the audience weighed in on whether the Sharks should invest and risk it.

Although all three pitches of the premiere episode went home with a deal, viewers were not pleased with this format.

Viewers enjoyed the show for its boardroom drama and this format was deemed a mess. Fans quickly went on social media to express their frustration as everybody was against the show’s attempt at a live broadcast.

For the unversed, Shark Tank is a reality show where passionate entrepreneurs pitch their business ideas and compete for funding from business experts.
