Every Disney Animated Film That Is Being Turned Into A Live Action Movie

1. Pinocchio – Disney+ Tom Hanks plays as Geppetto, the woodcarver who constructs and treats Pinocchio (Benjamin Evan Ainsworth) as if he were his own kid in Robert Zemeckis' Pinocchio. Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Cynthia Erivo, Keegan-Michael Key, Lorraine Bracco, and Luke Evans also appear in the film.

2. The Little Mermaid – May 26, 2023 The Little Mermaid is the next film to be adapted into a live-action picture, with Halle Bailey as the title character. Other cast members include Jonah Hauer-King, Daveed Diggs, Jacob Tremblay, Javier Bardem, and Melissa McCarthy.

The film will star Jude Law, Ever Anderson, Alexander Molony, and Yara Shahidi. Peter Pan and Wendy is scheduled to hit cinemas in 2022.

Lilo & Stitch The plot of Lilo & Stitch revolves around "the friendship forged between a lonely human girl named Lilo and a dog-like extraterrestrial named Stitch, who is engineered to be a destructive force." Pursuing foreigners, social workers, and the concept of a familial link all play a role in the proceedings."

5. The Hunchback of Notre Dame Josh Gad will produce the next film, which will be released in 2020, and playwright David Henry Hwang will write it. Alan Menken and Stephen Schwartz composed the music. There have been no official casting announcements for the film.

6. Robin Hood In April 2020, a live-action Robin Hood film was revealed. Kari Granlund has agreed to write the script, with Blind spotting director Carlos López Estrada directing.

7. The Sword in the Stone The Sword in the Stone, which was announced over five years ago, is also in the works for a live-action adaptation. The remake of the 1963 animated epic takes a humorous approach to King Arthur's mythology, focusing on him as a young lad educated by the sorcerer Merlin.

Bambi and Snow White Bambi was confirmed for 2020, and the company intends to employ the same technology as the remakes of The Jungle Book and The Lion King. The live-action Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs film, starring Rachel Zegler and Gal Gadot, will expand on the tale and soundtrack from the 1938 original animated classic.
