According to reports, Elon Musk may be considering terminating his Twitter merger agreement.
Musk noted that the social media company is committing a "material breach" of merger terms in a recent amendment to his SEC filing.
In the updated filing, Twitter is accused of retaining information about bot spam and fake account data.
Twitter's failure to disclose its testing methods, according to Elon Musk, is both insufficient and an attempt to "obfuscate and confuse."
The Twitter merger agreement is currently on hold because Musk needs the information on bot spam and fake account data to prepare for the acquisition and secure financing for the sale.
Twitter has stated that bot spam and fake accounts account for less than 5% of its daily users.
However, it has not provided any additional information about the problem on its platform.
