The Person who goes to the gym regardless of how they feel will always beat the person who goes to the gym when they feel like going to the gym.” He said.

Although there isn’t much wrong with the quote itself, Johnson could come under fire for this because Tate has been labeled a ‘misogynist by many people and is constantly attracting controversy for his over-the-top statements.

There have been many interviews where Tate has made statements that could be deemed as sexist. The former kickboxer was called out for his statement on the Barstool podcast, where he claimed that a man needs to have complete authority over women.

I believe as a man I should pay for the first date, I believe I should open the car door, protect her, provide, I believe she is my woman, she should come to me with her problems and I should fix them, that makes me a sexist and horrible person, fine.

Moreover, there was also a video released in 2016 where Tate was seen striking a woman, which led to him being kicked off the reality TV show Big Brother. Tate later claimed that it was ‘roleplay’ and was done with the consent of the woman.
