The fight between Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather was a spectacle to watch. Mayweather earned a stoppage win over ‘Mystic Mac’ in round 10 of their encounter.
However, along with the fight, another aspect that entertained the fans was the press conferences. Both fighters did their best to take digs at each other. In one such instance, McGregor hilariously trolled Floyd Mayweather.
During one of their press conferences, Floyd Mayweather said, “Let me show you m*********ers what a $100 million fighter look like. Still got a $100 million and I ain’t even touched that s**t.”
Throughout their press conferences, both fighters had many interesting moments. While McGregor might have lost the fight, fans appreciated his willingness to shift to another sport. However, we might see ‘The Notorious’ once again in the squared circle.
‘The Notorious’ Conor McGregor was the first simultaneous two-weight division champion in the UFC. While everything was going great for McGregor in MMA, he showed toughness and moved to the sport of boxing.
During an interview, when asked if he would return to boxing, McGregor said, “Boxing is, you know, my first love in combat sports, is boxing. So you know, I had such a great time the last time I was out there.”
The Irish superstar also added that his current return would take place in the UFC octagon. He believes that his story with the UFC is far from over and, in fact, it’s just being written.
