Conor McGregor Reveals Why He Opted Out of Using a Stunt Double in His New Movie's Action Scenes
Conor McGregor, the former UFC champion and current coach on The Ultimate Fighter (TUF), will make his acting debut in the upcoming remake of 'Road House'.
McGregor will star alongside Golden Globe winner Jake Gyllenhaal in the film, which is expected to be released in 2023.
McGregor recently revealed in an interview that he chose not to use a stunt double for the action scenes in the movie.
He explained that he thought the stunt double did not look enough like him and felt like a "vain motherf***er" for wanting to do his own stunts.
McGregor performed all his own stunts in the movie, which required extensive training and preparation.
The film features scenes filmed at the ceremonial weigh-ins for UFC 285, with UFC employees and fans also participating in the shoot.
McGregor has previously expressed his interest in pursuing an acting career alongside his fighting career.
McGregor is currently preparing for his comeback fight against Michael Chandler, which is expected to take place in 2023.
McGregor's return to the octagon and his debut as an actor in 'Road House' are highly anticipated by fans and critics alike.
