Buzz Lightyear Becomes Chris Evans’ Knives Out Character In Fan Art

Chris Evans’ animated character Buzz is introduced in Pixar’s Lightyear, and fresh artwork combines the actor’s animated avatar with his Knives Out adversary.

Tim Allen initially brought the renowned Space Ranger to life in 1995’s Toy Story as an astronaut action figure; who develops an unexpected friendship with an old-fashioned pull-string cowboy toy named Woody (voiced by Tom Hanks).

The success of this film, as well as its 1999 sequel; spawned a spin-off series, Buzz Lightyear of Star Command; in which Patrick Warburton took over as the main voice actor. Now, Chris Evans will be the next actor to portray the character in Lightyear; which appears to be a full-fledged origin narrative for the human astronaut who inspired the Toy Story action figure.
