Bob Saget, Full House Star Found Dead at 65

Bob Saget, a stand-up comedian and actor best known for playing Danny Tanner on the 1990s comedy “Full House,” died Sunday at the Ritz-Carlton hotel in Orlando, according to authorities. He was 65 years old at the time.
According to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, police officers went to a man down report at the Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes Hotel and discovered Saget unresponsive in a hotel room shortly after 4 p.m.
At the spot, he was pronounced dead. The sheriff’s office had no information on the cause of death, and detectives found no evidence of foul play or drug use in the investigation.
At a later point, the Medical Examiner’s Office will identify the cause and manner of death.
Saget had just finished a nationwide stand-up tour that was scheduled to span from September 2021 through June 2022.
Saget performed Saturday evening at Ponte Vedra Concert Hall in Jacksonville, Fla., according to his most recent tweet.
In 1987, Saget was cast as Danny Turner, the father of D.J. (Candace Cameron), Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin), and Michelle Tanner (Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen) on “Full House.
After his wife died on the show, he raised his girls as a single father, but he was helped by his brother-in-law Jesse Katsopolis (John Stamos) and his best buddy Joey Gladstone (Dave Coulier).
