As everybody is aware that the Met Gala is one of the most amazing nights in New York. The most glamourous people get together to host a charity gala for the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute.
The event was launched by Eleanor Lambert and Diana Vreeland. Met Gala has become the perfect fashion opportunity for the attendees to showcase their style and luxurious outfit. This is the reason why the media thinks BlackPink’s Rose might be attending this year’s, Met Gala.
EXO’s Lay was the first K-Pop idol to attend the Met Gala back in 2019 but no female idol has attended the event yet. As per the rumours, Rose might be attending the Met Gala but on September 11, Blinks were surprised when they saw Rose at the JFK airport in New York.
The paparazzi had also found the K-Pop idol leaving Yves Saint Laurent. As per a celebrity photographer, Miles Diggs, he claimed that he saw the K-Pop idol leaving the YSL store after a fitting.
However, MTV had accidentally posted that Rose might be performing at the VMAs, which turned out to be untrue. Blinks are in doubt regarding the Met Gala as well. The media is spotting Rose in the city and many are believing that she might actually attend the Met Gala.
If that happens, it will make the singer the first female K-Pop idol to grace the Met Gala event. The theme for this year’s event is ‘In America: A Lexicon of Fashion; as American fashion is going through a renaissance period.
The show will be hosted by Amanda Gorman, Timothée Chalamet, Naomi Osaka and Billie Eilish. This will also mark the first time that Met Gala will be live-streamed by Vogue; and will allow fans to witness their favourite stars live.
