BIGHIT MUSIC Issues A Statement After BTS’ SUGA Recovers From COVID-19

IGHIT MUSIC issued a statement on the fan community platform Weverse around noon KST on January 3, 2022, assuring fans of BTS member SUGA’s full recovery from COVID-19.

"

SUGA’s quarantine ended on January 3 at 12:00 KST, according to the announcement, and he is now free to resume his normal activities without showing any symptoms.

"

Following his return from the United States on December 23, 2021, SUGA was diagnosed with COVID-19.

"

SUGA had previously tested negative for COVID-19, therefore the positive test results were believed to have arrived during his self-quarantine.

"

BTS had traveled to the United States for the 2021 American Music Awards and a four-day concert at Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium, which was a huge success.

"

Following the event, Big Hit announced that they will be taking a break from work. After the concert, Jin, Jimin, and Jungkook quickly returned to South Korea, while V and J-Hope went on vacation to Hawaii, while RM and Suga had other plans.

While in quarantine, the BTS member said on Weverse, “I am alright:) Don’t worry too much.” to comfort fans. SUGA commented on Weverse shortly after the statement, saying “cleared from quarantine” with a laughing emoji.
