atmos and adidas Come Together for a Vivid ZX8000 G-SNK “TJ” Collaboration
adidas (+4.90% on XETRA:ADS.DE) Every year, Originals collaborates with a different brand or designer for collaboration footwear items, and one of its most constant imprints is atmos.
This season, the Japanese streetwear powerhouse has been asked to design a striking adidas ZX8000 G-SNK "TJ" collaboration inspired by a 2012 sample that never made it to mass production.
The "TJ" name alludes to Till Jagla, who worked as the Three Stripes head of energy at the brand's HQ until recently, when he plucked this from the archives and pushed for its public release.
The shoes are dominated by a lighter grey tint that flows over the pleated quarters, toe boxes, tongues, and forefoot overlays, the latter of which is designed with reflective panelling and features snakeskin motifs.
The secondary hue, "Cyan," is utilised to enhance the internal liners, tongue branding, midsoles, and heels, while pink hits accentuate the Trefoil logo, stripes, and heightened heel overlays.
Torsion cushioning is distinguished by the lace dubraes, which come with a bright yellow backdrop.
These will be available via atmos on May 14 for $16,000 (about $123 USD).
