At AEW Revolution, Ric Flair disagrees with MJF for throwing a drink at a young fan

The "The Nature Boy" has a tangled history of being a heel both inside and outside of the ring.

Yet even Flair has criticised Maxwell Jacob Friedman's behaviour at AEW's Revolution pay-per-view in the open.

Before returning to ringside during his Iron Man match against Bryan Danielson, MJF snatched a drink from a spectator and hurled it into a child's face.

The drink may or may not have contained alcohol. It's inexpensive heating, Flair added.

"You want to do something that won't harm anyone to generate heat and get people fired up.''

''You cut yourself so deeply that blood spills all over them as you move your hair. When I had long hair, I used to do it frequently.''

Even though Flair appeared to be joking when he said that last line, he was very clear about his position.

"I absolutely oppose throwing anything at a child."
