The British boxer Anthony Joshua is among the top heavyweight fighters in the world. The two-time unified heavyweight champion is capable of almost anything.
As such, Joshua lost his titles to Andy Ruiz and came back with a masterclass performance to regain his throne.
Although the British boxer can do everything he wants to, he has his limitations. Recently, Joshua explained his biggest weakness in an interview.
The two-time unified heavyweight champion visited Oxford University for an interview ahead of his rematch against the Ukrainian fighter, Oleksandr Usyk. During the interview, an audience member asked Joshua what is something he can’t do.
Joshua stated that he believes he’s a people-pleaser. He answered, “I would say I people please a lot, I always have people’s thoughts at the forefront of what’s good for me.”
Furthermore, he added he doesn’t think being selfish is a bad thing, and he feels he needs to try putting himself first. He stated, “Is being selfish good? It’s not bad, is it when you’re looking out for number one.”
He further explained his thoughts by saying “So I think not looking out for number one is something I’m not so good at. I just need to find more time to better myself and put myself first and be more present.”
The highly-anticipated fight was originally scheduled for July 23, 2022. However, the fight seems to be postponed and set to take place sometime in August of this year. Joshua will have his eyes set on avenging the loss from the previous fight.
