Andrew Tate Reacts After Jake Paul Calls Him Out for Fight This Year

There have been rumours that Tate, a former kickboxer who has gained notoriety recently, is in negotiations to face Paul later this year.

Tate's representative, though, refuted the allegations and insisted that a fight would be a worldwide event.

The spokesperson told Mirror Boxing: "“There are currently no productive talks with Jake Paul’s team regarding a fight between him and Andrew.

"We are aware that due to the rise in Andrew’s popularity it’s a fight the world wants to see."

"However, at this moment in time, there is nothing to report."

Paul, who has more than 20 million YouTube subscribers, was scheduled to battle Hasim Rahman Jr. this weekend, but the bout was abruptly cancelled due to a dispute over the weight.

The 25-year-old asserted his status as "the most feared guy in boxing" and criticised Rahman for his "lack of professionalism" in relocating the fight's weight limit.

Rahman himself was a last-minute replacement for Tommy Fury, a former Love Island celebrity who has since postponed two matches with Paul. Tate, a retired American-British boxer, has been identified as a contender now that Paul plans to compete in October.

Tate himself had gone on Big Brother, but he was fired from the programme after a video of him allegedly punching a lady online surfaced. Recently, despite not having an official account on TikTok, Tate has gained popularity there, with his sometimes contentious opinions igniting heated discussion among viewers.

Tate's spokesperson added: "We have also become aware that Jake Paul and his team intend to call Andrew out via a collection of YouTube/ Instagram videos.

"However, as stated before, there has been no official talks regarding a fight." Paul's record in boxing currently stands at five wins and zero losses. Meanwhile, Tate is a four-time champion across two weight classes in ISKA kickboxing with a record which stands at 43-9 as per Sportskeeda.
