Alexandra Daddario Will Not Be Returning For The Disney+ Series
One of the actors of the Percy Jackson films, Alexandra Daddario, has stated that she would not be a part of the forthcoming Disney+ series.
The Percy Jackson movie and upcoming Disney+ series are based on Rick Riordan’s Percy Jackson & the Olympians series of books.
Director Chris Columbus, who had previously directed the first two Home Alone films and the first two chapters of the Harry Potter franchise, first adapted the books for the screen in 2010.
Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief was the first feature, and it was followed by Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters in 2013.
Like Percy Jackson, Logan Lerman took center stage. Brandon T. Jackson, Steve Coogan, Sean Bean, Pierce Brosnan, Uma Thurman, Rosario Dawson, and Daddario were among the cast members.
While some actors were replaced in the sequel, Daddario remained in the part of Annabeth Chase, the goddess Athena’s daughter.
Unfortunately, neither film received positive reviews from reviewers or audiences, putting the third installment on hold. However, Percy Jackson will be converted into a live-action series for Disney+. The series, however, appears to be starting from scratch, as the cast from the movie, or at least Daddario, will not be involved.
