According To Warner Bros. CEO, Would Like To Develop More Harry Potter Content

"

Ann Sarnoff, the CEO of Warner Bros., recently stated that the studio would like to create more original Harry Potter content.

"

The move comes after HBO Max made all eight Harry Potter films available for streaming earlier this year, despite the fact that the rights are technically owned by NBC’s Peacock.

"

For the time being, WarnerMedia’s HBO Max appears to be the franchise’s permanent home, with the service apparently eyeing exciting new Harry Potter projects.

"

Many Potter fans were curious if the series planned to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, the first film version of JK Rowling’s beloved novels, which was released in 2001.

"

The Fantastic Beasts spin-off series, The Cursed Child play, and a reported HBO Max original series were all inspired by the franchise, which produced eight hugely successful feature films and inspired the Fantastic Beasts spin-off series, The Cursed Child play, and a rumored HBO Max original series.

"

And fans finally got their wish when WarnerMedia announced that Harry, Ron, and Hermione would reunite on the screen once more.

"

Last month, HBO Max announced that several of the original cast members, including Emma Watson, Daniel Radcliffe, and Rupert Grint, would be returning for a magical reunion special, Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts, which will premiere on the streaming service on January 1.
