According To Jeremy Renner, The Avengers Are Still Close And Have A Group Text

According to Jeremy Renner, the Avengers stars are still close and have a private group text.

Since 2011’s Thor, the American actor has played adept archer Clint Barton in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, making him one of the team’s original members.

Renner stars in the Disney+ miniseries Hawkeye, which launches its first two episodes on November 24, after years of supporting roles.

The Avengers team has altered drastically since it first came together in 2012’s The Avengers, despite the fact that audiences have been living with this edition of Marvel superheroes for more than a decade.

This critically acclaimed first team-up film featured Iron Man, Captain America, Hulk, Thor, Black Widow, and Hawkeye as the titular squad, with a few S.H.I.E.L.D. operatives offering some important backup.

Half of that cast has died or aged out, with Renner’s swansong rumored to be the soon-to-be-released Hawkeye, in which he transfers the bow-and-arrow to Hailee Steinfeld’s Kate Bishop.

Renner is asked if he competes with Chris Hemsworth and Mark Ruffalo to be the last man remaining in the decreasing Avengers group chat by a Phase Zero interviewer, but Renner tells him that the actors haven’t truly died.
