9 Crypto Companies Rank In “Forbes 2022: Top 50 Fintech List”

Forbes recently published its ranking of the world’s top 50 financial technology businesses. The cryptocurrency sector is represented by nine of them.

Crypto investors and venture capitalists donated more money to fintech in 2021, as the global health crisis drove more purchasing and banking online and the price of bitcoin and tech equities climbed.

Global investment in the sector exceeded $132 billion, according to CB Insights. This is approximately three times the previous year’s budgeted sum of $49 billion.

Despite the pandemic rising its ugly head in the midst of a crypto winter, Forbes’ ranking of the top 50 Fintech businesses for 2022 now includes more crypto companies than it did a year ago.

This year’s Forbes Fintech 50 list includes a record nine cryptocurrency-focused companies, indicating that it is an honour roll of the most forward-thinking private fintech firms.

According to the business journal, the nine crypto businesses raised a total of $6.5 billion in venture capital. A significant amount of this has happened in the last year.

When Bitcoin surpassed $68,000 last year, crypto firms saw a surge in new customers. Four new crypto and blockchain celebrities appear on Forbes’ list for 2022.

According to Forbes, the cryptocurrency exchange FTX, created by billionaire Sam Bankman-Fried, is the market leader, having raised $1.5 billion in private money and being valued at $32 billion.

Crypto aficionados are rapidly adjusting to the realities of a negative or declining market, according to Forbes, citing the increased number of crypto startups on the Fintech 50 list this year. According to Forbes, such gains must be maintained.
