Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan had offered his 4-storey office building so that it can be used as a quarantine facility!
People have been helping in COVID-19 relief work to the best of their capacity. But if there’s one person who has won hearts with his contributions, then it is the actor Shah Rukh Khan. Apart from donating to several relief funds, he has offered his 4-storey office building so that it can be used as a quarantine facility.
His wife, Gauri Khan has shared a video of his office, which is now a place to keep people in isolation. She wrote, “#GauriKhanDesign‘s refurbished this office …a quarantine zone providing essentials and services to those in need. We must stand together and stand strong in this fight against #Covid19. @meerfoundationofficial @iamsrk.”
On the other hand, when BMC thanked SRK for his kind gesture, the actor’s reply was something that will simply let your heart. Shah Rukh wrote, “When we say ‘mybmc’ then it’s with a sense of ownership and pride in all the efforts your teams are putting up to fight covid 19. We both are thankful that we could be a part of your attempts to help and care for Mumbaikars.”
Shah Rukh Khan has donated to PM-Cares Fund and Maharashtra CM Fund. He also donated Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for healthcare professionals. Apart from these, he has been assisting Ek Saath – The Earth foundation, Roti foundation and Working People’s Charter. Also, his NGO Meer Foundation had donated to Support for Acid Attack survivors.
