Zack Synder’s cut was the long-awaited version of the Justice League that fans have been wanting. According to the reports, it is causing some controversy among the studio executives.

Zack Synder’s Justice League was one of the biggest DC hits. When Zack Snyder’s enormous, four-hour director’s cut of the 2017 movie Justice League debuted on HBO Max in 2021, it appeared to be a big win for online fan campaigns. Considering that Joss Whedon famously finished Justice League after Snyder walked away from the production, with some significant alterations.
Fans thought Synder’s absence was the reason for such a major disappointment after Justice League, which was helmed by the director of the Avengers, and proved to be a fiasco. As a result, fans clamored for the release of Zack Synder’s cut.
While the production house of Justice league did fulfill fans’ wishes, it doesn’t appear like the executives are happy with the decision.
Why Warner Bros. Regrets Making Synder’s Cut?
A report from Variety suggests that the studio regrets its decision of making the Synder’s Cut. Studio insiders never really wanted Synder’s Cut to happen and believe that they shouldn’t have settled to make it. However, the release of the four-hour HBO Max did not put an end to the never-ending online movement to #ReleasetheSnyderCut. Instead. It only increased the fanbase on social media against the studio and DC specifically.
Following the release of Synder Cut, instead of praising the studio’s efforts, fans are only demanding Zack take over the ownership of the DC Extended Universe. Despite the current debate over how much of the support for the Snyder Cut was sincere, it is unclear if Warner Bros. feels about releasing Synder’s Cut.
The campaign is still continuing on social media with the hashtag #RestoreTheSnyderVerse to create pressure on Warner studios. This appeal is made to release the Synder’s cut.
