Vatsal Sheth and Ishita Dutta had married each other in a very hush hush ceremony just after a few days of dating!
Amongst the many hush-hush weddings in the tinsel town, Vatsal Sheth and Ishita Dutta’s marriage is also one. The couple had tied the knot on November 28 back in the year 2017 in a very intimate wedding.
Talking to ETimes TV, Ishita revealed how they decided to get married within a few days of dating each other. When she had asked the actor as to why he wanted to marry her, he had said, “I live in Juhu and you live in Lokhandwala. And with the Mumbai traffic, I won’t be able to meet you everyday. So let’s get married.” The actress added on saying, “Thanks to Mumbai traffic and construction work, meri shaadi ho gayi.”
The couple also revealed how they were expecting their family members to obstruct a little. However, their families were very understanding and supported them.
Vatsal went on to talk about their private wedding as he said, “I was very clear that I want a small and private wedding. There were just 30-40 people at our wedding. I still feel very bad because I didn’t even invite my own cousins. I called them and told them the reason. We wanted to keep it very very small. Our wedding got over in an hour.”
Ishita too talked about how people are still angry with them. “There were many people who couldn’t even arrive on time. They were going as per normal wedding schedule but by the time they arrived, meri bidaai ho gayi thi. There are still some people who are angry and we are sorry. We want to apologise,” she added.
