TV actor Jagesh Mukati passes away

Television actor Jagesh Mukati, who has been a part of shows like Amita Ka Amit and Shree Ganesh, passed away yesterday in Mumbai!

This year has turned out to be really tough for everyone. From a pandemic to cyclones and bushfires, the world has been facing severe issues. For our entertainment industry too, this year has been really tough as we have lost some gem of the actors. Rishi Kapoor, Irrfan Khan, Mohit Baghel, Preksha Mehta, Manmeet Grewal and recently the music composer Wajid Khan – we have seen so many losses this year already. Now we the industry has lost another actor as the TV artist Jagesh Mukati is no more.

According to the reports Jagesh breathed his last yesterday, on 10^th June in Mumbai. He was facing breathing issues from the past few days and had been admitted to a hospital some 3-4 days back. Reportedly, he was put on a ventilator after his condition went serious.  

The television industry is mourning the demise of the actor. Several celebs who have known him or have worked with him, are paying their last tribute to the actor.

Ambika Ranjankar, who plays the role of Mrs Hathi in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, took to Instagram remembering the late actor. Both of them had worked together in the past. Sharing a picture with Jagesh, she wrote, “Kind, supportive and terrific sense of humour… gone too soon… May your soul attain sadgati.. Shanti.. Jagesh you’ll be missed dear friend.”

The television actor, Jagesh Mukati had been famous for his roles in daily soaps like Amita Ka Amit and Shree Ganesh. He had also worked in quite a few films like Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra starrer Hasee Toh Phasee.
