Some of the most prominent personalities in sports and popular culture are the products of WWE. Fans often question how much a celebrity is paid because stars like Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, John Cena, Hulk Hogan, and others are now living comfortably. Triple H disclosed that the minimum base pay for WWE Superstars on the main roster is $250,000 per year, while during the WrestleMania 38 weekend tryouts in Dallas last year.
Since this is only a base salary, it’s possible that some RAW and SmackDown performers will make additional income from their appearances at Premium Live Events and merchandise. Superstars in new brands, however, are paid considerably less. Dave Meltzer claims that the beginning pay for NXT performers ranges from $50,000 to $60,000, depending on their star power.
Former NXT athletes like Adam Cole and Finn Balor, though, are said to have made far more money while representing the company. Balor, I’m sure, makes that much money, but I don’t believe anyone else does. They don’t make $250,000, $300,000, or anything comparable. They are most likely in the low $100,000 range.
Brock Lesnar is the highest-paid wrestler
They make between $130,000 and $150,000, according to a top NXT performer I know who has been with the organisation for a long time. He should be making a tonne, but he only makes $130,000. Even though Adam Cole could be earning more, he isn’t. That is the scope. It’s not surprising that some of the promotion’s talent has already amassed millions of dollars. Even still, it’s intriguing that they make that much money despite rarely appearing on television.
The fact that Brock Lesnar is the highest-paid wrestler in the WWE is not surprising. The Beast Incarnate reportedly earns $10 million a year, with a base salary of $5 million guaranteed. Roman Reigns, the current Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, earns $5 million annually. The Tribal Chief is followed by Randy Orton, who earns $4.5 million annually. Meanwhile, celebrities like Becky Lynch, Seth Rollins, and AJ Styles earn $3 million annually.
Due to their WWE Legends contracts, retired legends like The Undertaker and Kane are also still paid. The Big Red Machine brings in about $900,000, compared to The Deadman’s $2.5 million. The least these performers should expect is generous compensation, considering the hazards and rigorous training that wrestlers regularly go through. Some even have to spend time away from their loved ones.
