Bud Light is commemorating becoming “the first-ever NFTs and first DAO in a Super Bowl Commercial” by offering N3XT NFT holders a “very real” physical gift.
Bud Light – introduced in 1982 as Budweiser Light – recently launched its N3XTs NFT Collection, which includes over 12,700 unique tokens designed in the blue and white color hues of the new brew’s packaging, tied to the launch of its new beer brand N3XT.
And now, the brand is gifting the N3XT token holders a new present: Nouns-inspired specs.

Bud Light’s Engagement In The NFT Community
The N3XT NFT Collectibles launched this February isn’t the brand first time that Bud Light’s gotten into the innovative industry of non-fungible tokens. According to Decrypt, it had bought a hand-drawn beer rocket NFT for 8 ETH (about $26,000 at the time) last year, along with getting registered on the domain beer.eth. And this Saturday, it revealed that any “N3XT NFT Collection HODLer” can claim a “very real” pair of glasses inspired by the brand’s upcoming Super Bowl ad.
What Are Noun-NFTs?
The Nouns NFT collectibles is a project launched in August 2021, producing and selling just one new NFT character per day. Several of these have sold for hundreds of thousands of dollars in ether, which is then pooled into the DAO (or decentralized autonomous organization) overseen by Nouns holders.
Just a month prior, the Noun s Foundation gifted a Nouns NFT to Budweiser, which the American beer brand brought for around $394,000 at the time, i.e., 127 ETH. This was part of a January 16 proposal by Nouns DAO that included the possibility of the beer brand featuring “Noun glasses in a Super Bowl commercial and on real beverage cans,” Decrypt notes.
And now, turning into one of the many crypto and NFT commercials airing during Super Bowl 56 on Sunday, Bud Light unveiled its NFL advertisement this past week, featuring a pair of Nouns glasses.
