TikToker Axel Webber And Julliard Acting School Drama EXPLAINED!

TikToker Axel Webber has been in the news lately but the reason for it is pretty odd. The TikTok star, who has over 2 million followers on the platform and more than 63 million likes was rejected after he applied at Julliard, an elite acting, film making, and dance institution.

Axel Webber rose to popularity by making content on TikTok and is one of the breakout stars that the platform has given to the world. He hasa loyal fan following and the fans of Axel were disturbed when their favorite creator wasn’t accepted into Julliard.

Julliard holds the reputation of being amongst the best and exclusive acting schools of the world. It takes in 850 students only for a batch and this time, popular TikToker Axel Webber who moved to NYC with dreams of being an actor also applied to the school.

However, the star was rejected from Julliard. After Axel Webber shared the news with his fans on TikTok (in a video where he was seen crying and evidently dejected), the video went viral!

“‘You are no longer under consideration for admission for Fall 2022,’” the star is seen reading the letter in the video as his misty eyes begin to get even more teary. “We gave it our best shot, which is the only thing we can do. Now we’re going to have to find a different way to be an actor.”

Comments on the TikTok have expressed their anger at Julliard for denying admission to Axel.

“Let Axel in!” or “Justice for Axel” are some of the comments prominently seen on the video.

However, Axel has given his response to the viral video and thanked his fans for the support. At the same time, he says the fault is not from Julliard and people should stop spamming their Instagram handle.

“I thoroughly appreciate the support more than anything,” Webber said in a video response to his viral rejection. “We cannot bash Juilliard, though. They’re just doing their job.”

“Let’s keep it positive, and let’s try not to totally ruin their Instagram account,” he continued. “Their poor social media manager over at Juilliard. I apologize!”
