Thor: Love & Thunder Almost Had A Jesus Cameo

Thor: Love & Thunder is already out now on Disney+. Taika Waititi has some interesting revelations about the film, which we didn’t know previously. One of which was an expected cameo from ‘Jesus Christ’. Yes, you heard that right. The film featured a couple of gods including Zeus.

In the film, Valkyrie once mentions the God Of Carpentry. This is a reference to God Jesus. The Jesus cameo was supposed to be during the eternity scene. When Gorr the God Butcher finally reaches eternity and asks for his wish to be fulfilled.

Taika Waititi says, ” there was supposed to be a cutaway to you-know-who. Big J.” The cameo didn’t make it up to the screens. The reason behind that is there was a chance of the religious sentiments & beliefs being offended. Then the whole Twitter would have gone crazy to boycott the film, trolling and causing endless debates around it.

Recently another revelation was made about the film. It was that baby Thor was played by Bob Chapek’s (Disney CEO) grandson. But it was known that baby’s face was fully digitalized and the baby didn’t really play the role.

Taika Waititi before the release of the film confirmed that it’s no serious or drama film. He says, ” but we do deal with ideas that I think a lot of humans deal with — universal themes about love and loss and our place in the world. Everyone sort of asks this question in the film: What is your purpose? What is the reason that you’re a hero, and what do you do when you have these powers? It’s sort of like a midlife crisis film, really.”

Loki’s Easter Egg/Cameo In Thor 4

When Thor goes to meet Zeus on Mount Olympus and when he asked him to take the stage to speak about his problem. Later on, Zeus flicks Thor’s clothes we can see a tattoo on his back. The headgear of Loki was made on his back with RIP Loki written. Another tattoo on his back was also a tribute to the heroes who sacrificed themselves to save the world. The names were Tony Stark, Natasha Romanoff, Heimdall, Loki, mother “Frigga” and father “Odin”.
