The Voice came back with a brand new episode on November 21. Team Blake Shelton’s member, Bodie, gained a spot among the top 10 this week.
The theme of the night was ‘Dedication’ and Bodie chose to sing his wedding song. He sang The Proclaimer’s song, I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles), the song he and his wife danced to. The song reminded him of how he wanted to be a better husband and father.
Blake praised Bodie as he shared how different his version of the song was saying nobody will be able to know the real song behind it. He received a standing ovation for this performance as he impressed everybody including the judges.
Gwen got emotional after his performance and described him as “unbelievably gifted”. Fans of The Voice, also agree as they describe him as the “real deal”. They want Bodie to reach the finale of the competition. Viewers also took to Twitter to praise Bodie for his impressive performance.
Fans agree that Bodie has star quality and can win the competition. However, we will only know if Bodie is the top finalist after the coming episode on November 22, only on NBC.
As for other contestants, Kique sang Stevie Wonder’s Superstition as it reminded him of his time in high school. His performance did impress the judges and applauded him for making the song his own.
Meanwhile, Bryce Leatherwood sang a song that he used to play back in his hometown with his band. It was George Strait’s Amarillo. Devix sang a song that showed his dedication and skill by singing R U Mine? He also received a standing ovation.
