The first teaser trailer for Mike Flanagan’s new horror limited series Midnight Mass will be released tomorrow, according to Netflix.
Flanagan created, wrote, executive produced, and directed the series, which will consist of seven episodes and represents the latest partnership between the acclaimed filmmaker and the streaming site. Following the advent of a strange priest, a remote island village experiences both miraculous miracles and terrifying omens.
Midnight Mass was first revealed in mid-2019, just as Flanagan was wrapping principal filming on The Haunting of Bly Manor, the second instalment of his critically successful Netflix anthology series.
Kate Siegel, Henry Thomas, Annabeth Gish, Samantha Sloyan, Rahul Kohli, Alex Essoe, and Michael Trucco will all reprise their roles from the previous series, as will a number of other cast members from both the Haunting seasons and his other works. With the series’ production concluding in December, it appears like the arrival of Midnight Mass is finally on the horizon.
