The Flash will be concluding its Season 9 in 2023 and will mark the end of the franchise. A lot of updates on the many DC Comics-based films and TV shows’ possible futures have occurred over the past week, making it a busy one for them (or lack thereof). This began on Monday with the confirmation that The Flash will be ending with its upcoming ninth season on The CW, which will air on the network beginning in 2023.
The network’s Arrowverse of shows will likely come to an end with this last season, but it remains to be seen whether and how it will fit into the greater DC multiverse. Ever since the series The flash has been seen coming to an end fans are speculating if there will be any lead from the show in the upcoming movie of the Flash.
The television series pilot, in which Grant Gustin portrays the Scarlet Speedster, debuted only a few days before it was announced that Ezra Miller would portray an alternative version of the character in a movie. As a result, the two current live-action versions of the Scarlet Speedster have been linked almost from the beginning.

Fans had speculated for years that Gustin and Miller might work together in some form, and they unexpectedly received their wish in early 2020 when Miller made a surprise appearance in The CW’s “Crisis on Infinite Earths” crossover. The Flash series has been running for a long and they have welcomed the series happily as the story moved ahead.
After the premiere of the finale episode of Superman and Lois has opened up the possibility of Arrowverse which would mean that we may get to witness our favorite DC superheroes in together one single project. Since one of the major series of the DC fandom has come to an end, we can expect the Arrowverse to happen in the individual movies.
To fans’ surprise, an unexpected character made an appearance n the “Crisis on Infinite Earth”. The cameo by Miller was requested by Warner Bros., and The Flash movie writer Christina Hodson “planned” for it when she was scripting the movie, it was revealed in the weeks that followed that episode.
“I got a phone call from [Warner Bros. boss], Peter Roth, saying, ‘I know you’re locked, but can you put Ezra into the crossover?” stated at the time. And I said, ‘Yes. And he said, ‘How, you’re series wrapped? And you’re wrapped on the crossover.’
Since then, The Flash movie has finished production and experienced a couple more postponements; it is currently scheduled to premiere on June 23, 2023. Given that the project has been revealed to deal with the multiverse, there have also been rumors that Gustin might make an appearance in it.
