Producer Vikram Malhotra stated on Wednesday that Superstar Akshay Kumar’s digital debut The End will begin production at the end of the year or in early 2022. The Amazon Prime Video series was first announced in 2019, but production was put on hold owing to the coronavirus epidemic.
The producer claimed his team is now working on many series with Amazon, including The End and Hush Hush, during a special event hosted by Sherni, which is supported by Malhotra’s Abundantia Entertainment.

The thriller series Breathe and its second season, as well as the Bhumi Pednekar-starrer Durgamati, were previously produced by Malhotra’s label. “Creatives like us are on the lookout for platforms that will become homes to our sensibilities and creative efforts. Amazon Prime Video provided us with a warm welcome.
“Aside from Breathe, there are additional series in the works, such as Hush Hush, which is now under production. Because of the epidemic, we had to put it on hold. There’s a show starring Akshay Kumar called The End. “Depending on the scenario, it will start later this year or early next year,” Malhotra told reporters.
The drama, directed by Amit Masurkar, stars the 42-year-old actor as an upstanding forest inspector tasked with resolving the man-animal conflict. The film’s first schedule in Bhoot Palasi, Madhya Pradesh, was cut short due to the coronavirus outbreak last year. When the lockdown limitations were lifted in October 2020, the team started shooting.
Balan, who was also present at the virtual event, expressed gratitude to Malhotra, Vijay Subramaniam, Director and Head, Content, Amazon Prime Video India, and Sheo Shekhar Shukla, Principal Secretary, Madhya Pradesh Tourism Department, for believing in the film.
