The D’Amelio Show ft. Charli & Dixie D’Amelio Disappoints The Internet Before Release On Hulu

Charli and her sister, Dixie D’Amelio have already begun to take over the online streaming platform, Hulu. The sisters along with their parents, Marc and Heidi will be seen in the D’Amelio show. It is set to premiere on September 3rd.

A clip was released announcing the show’s premiere and fans got a glimpse of the first family of TikTok. Charli was surrounded by her family as she announced the release of their new show. She said, “Hey, guys, guess what? We have a new show on Hulu!”

Marc had revealed jokingly that the show was “totally unscripted”. Heidi and Dixie were seen encouraging fans to watch the show at the end of the teaser. Hulu had previously revealed that they would be releasing the Keeping Up With The Kardashians-like reality show. The first season is said to have eight episodes and fans can expect to see BTS footage of the daily lives of the D’Amelio family.

Charli D’Amelio has garnered over 120.5 million followers on TikTok by posting dance videos since May 2019. Her sister, Dixie, was quick to rise to fame, too, by amassing over 52 million followers on the same platform.

Although their fans seem to be excited to see the daily lives of the D’Amelios, the majority of the online community were unimpressed. People questioned Hulu on what makes the sisters deserve a show for themselves. Few questioned how the two most basic people on TikTok were given a show of their own.

A user also stated that if someone looks at this and gets excited, they would want to suggest they reevaluate their lives. Charli was previously involved in a family dinner controversy where she was seemingly dissing the chef’s cooking. That video had left the internet in disbelief and they were ready to dismiss this unreleased show.

The D’Amelio show might see the life of the TikTok family and how the sisters feel about all the backlash. Will you be watching the show on Hulu from September 3rd?
